Final days at Treehouse

Wednesday, March 5, 2014

One of the last days in the shop at Treehouse. Already miss it there.

For the boss

A design made for my mentor, for his father. Will be full color, with solids of sky blue, crystal blue, and shades of sage. Unfortunately things came up and I was unable to tattoo him before I left, but hopefully we can tat him up upon my return to the states next year!

Travel homage

Added a world compass and some roses to existing text. For her love of travel! She came to get this tattoo all the way from Pennsylvania! So honored.

Constellations

Done on one of my favorite clients (she also has the condor from my business cards and Baba Yaga's house). This is Maia of Pleiades, a lovely little constellation. Super whimsical and satisfying.

Phoenix henna

Did this cover-up on a sweet lady. The tattoo before was three little stacked black 7's in this little guy's neck. My first step into henna work! Hard to tell, but there is a ton of color in this. Hopefully I can get a healed picture one day.

Half-sleeves

Two half-sleeves I had to leave without finishing. The top piece would eventually have been a full as well. Hope whoever gets to use my lines as a coloring book has a blast! So many fucking flowers. Also, the bottom one is a cover-up of "Asian Princess." Lolol.

Traditional/neo

My first steps into the traditional and neo-traditional world. Can't wait to finish the mongoose/snake piece when I get back to the USA. The second piece was rad--I really got to carve that shit in.
