This is in progress- just about halfway done. On the same guy/arm as the cuttlefish, fish/hand, gentleman bull. Next step is to finish the globe, and have the tail run down the length of his forearm towards his hand. Then WHITE!

Colin again and again!
Monday, June 1, 2015
Little cuttle fish filler between the gentleman bull and the hand/fish. He just lets me do whatever the fuck I want, and I love it. Next: the inside of the arm.

Slowly working on a cover-up of a very old half sleeve. We covered ugly roots with a little sleeping fox, and added new life to some sad, sad birds (pictured below in their original form). Still LOTS to do!
This was a special one. It's the Schrodinger's cat for my long-time friend, Crystal. She and I met when we were 11, and I knew her cat, Pandy, who this is a little tribute to. Super fun with the sketchiness! And after we celebrated with donuts and a little brunch. Boom.
Liz B.
This was a challenging one- the first time my hand ever cramped. Lines within lines within lines!
It was a really fun design, however. She asked for a fern, as well as some sort of jewelry-type drippy aspect. So this is where I went. She's now going to use it as her logo for her jewelry company!

Katie's hen
Tuesday, April 14, 2015
Here's the sketch of Katie's sweet little hen and some flowers from a farm she worked at over the summer that was near and dear to her. The left sketch is the color layer on top, the right is the linework. Such a fun thing to design!
The final product! She decided against the blue circle for now. I think this allows for a nice composition and a farm-ier feel, however does make the sunflower a little awkward. Hopefully she'll allow me to remedy this when she comes back for touch-ups in a few weeks.
I'm hella proud of that little hen though! She's a beaut!

Etchings forever
Tuesday, April 7, 2015
This one will be in all color- one of my first little dives into the traditional realm! Representing life and death for my lady Erin.
These little guys will be part of a whole water-based mythological sleeve. The horse is a Kelpie-- a shape shifting creature that dwells in the water and lures children to their death, and the cherub-type children are based on Cernunnos. Deer-like beasts without hooves.
Super fun one on the back of a calf! Always wanted to do a lil tarot cart.
Colin gave me free reign, and this is where I went. Gentleman bull on the inner forearm.

Great Blue Heron

My final tattoo at Treehouse. What an honor it was to work with the great Amory Abbott, one of the most wonderful, kind, badass people I've met on this earth. And such a perfect tattoo to end with-- a favorite bird of mine on a lovely lady.
