Progress

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

This is in progress- just about halfway done. On the same guy/arm as the cuttlefish, fish/hand, gentleman bull. Next step is to finish the globe, and have the tail run down the length of his forearm towards his hand. Then WHITE!

Colin

Wednesday, June 24, 2015
This guy is set to fill in the empty space on Colin's sleeve-- meaning in between the gentleman bull/ fish-hand/ cuttlefish I've been working on with him. Photos are below in earlier posts.
The tail will go between the Bull and Fish, wrapping up and over his elbow. Should be a pretty badass one when it's done. All of this is just "Do whatever floats your boat, Alpal" which is pretty tight. The globe in this is loosely based off of a piece Cody Eich just did-- I really dug the idea and made it my own lil orb desert.

The jaw tattoo was one of my favorites in a while- I'd love to do more anatomical etchings

Half way into it, stopped for now.

Slowly working on a cover-up of a very old half sleeve. We covered ugly roots with a little sleeping fox, and added new life to some sad, sad birds (pictured below in their original form). Still LOTS to do!

This was a special one. It's the Schrodinger's cat for my long-time friend, Crystal. She and I met when we were 11, and I knew her cat, Pandy, who this is a little tribute to. Super fun with the sketchiness! And after we celebrated with donuts and a little brunch. Boom.

Liz B.

This was a challenging one- the first time my hand ever cramped. Lines within lines within lines!
It was a really fun design, however. She asked for a fern, as well as some sort of jewelry-type drippy aspect. So this is where I went. She's now going to use it as her logo for her jewelry company!

He told me to do whatever I wanted. Twice.

Here's the view of his arm as it twists, which leads into this little healed guy pictured below!

Tributes

A little teensy tribute to her love of Sylvia Plath
Birthday girl got herself a little Brian Eno goody. That top line may be the straightest line I've ever done in the three years I've been tattooing (the inner lines are supposed to be wobbly, ya'll)!

Etchings forever

Tuesday, April 7, 2015
This one will be in all color- one of my first little dives into the traditional realm! Representing life and death for my lady Erin.

These little guys will be part of a whole water-based mythological sleeve. The horse is a Kelpie-- a shape shifting creature that dwells in the water and lures children to their death, and the cherub-type children are based on Cernunnos. Deer-like beasts without hooves.

Super fun one on the back of a calf! Always wanted to do a lil tarot cart.

Colin gave me free reign, and this is where I went. Gentleman bull on the inner forearm.

A few small commissions I did for a friend out in California. This is them before They were all cut out and neatly framed and all that jazz

Elbow Goliath Beetle for Colin!

Lil rooster buddy to add onto a flash sheet

Origins Tattoo in Greenwood

Monday, September 15, 2014
Working at a new tattoo shop now that I'm back from traveling! My old shop (Treehouse) closed, as my boss moved out to Portland, OR. But, I've found a new spot to work from! Origins. And these are my first two works from there.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway logo for Jared, and a tribute to the Flatirons in Boulder, CO for Maia.

Great Blue Heron

Wednesday, March 5, 2014

My final tattoo at Treehouse. What an honor it was to work with the great Amory Abbott, one of the most wonderful, kind, badass people I've met on this earth. And such a perfect tattoo to end with-- a favorite bird of mine on a lovely lady.

Fox skull

Second to last tattoo at Treehouse! Fox skull in mid-stage decomposition.

Travel homage

Added a world compass and some roses to existing text. For her love of travel! She came to get this tattoo all the way from Pennsylvania! So honored.
