Whew! It's been a week since my last post! What a busy week it has been.

"The House" coffee, a cool but painfully hipster place run by dudes in bands with bikes and beards. Good coffee, and a nice drawing atmosphere, however. They all call me "love." Pretty cute place, but kinda snobby overall.

So, starting with last Monday, it rained. A lot. All week. I went to coffee shops and then Scott and I mostly just lazed around with his or my roommates when he got off work. Tuesday, however, he took me out to a lovely dinner in Newtown as my official birthday dinner. He totally spoiled me with a dinner of roast duck and baked barramundi, from a lovely little place called Bloodwood. I can't recall much about the rest of the week until Friday, where we went out with some of his friends. That night was pretty fun, as we went to a bar where you could go into a back room and gamble and smoke cigarettes (Aussies have a big gambling problem haha)! That was pretty cool. Then his roommate Benny and I danced to Shaggy. Lovely night, which led into an even lovelier weekend (which I'll fill you in on the next post).
